Cryptozoology is the study of Cryptids; creatures that are thought to exist by humans, and because the term Monster Study can refer to quite... a few things, a new term was coined; Cryptozoology. In this study you will find a large variety of creatures that are rumored to exist but have not been proved to exist or have existed.

Family Name: draco zepha
Family Relatives: N/A
Recognized: 2142, encountered 2148, ICZN or ICZN Code approved
Length: (nose to tail-tip) males seen to be 60-70' females seen to be about 50-65' largest female recorded was at 76'6" (nose to back of thigh) 45-50' in length, females vary between those numbers
Weight: males tend to be 300-500 pounds in weight with females 300-400 pounds
Height: on four legs(discluding the neck) about 5' off the ground (including neck) 18-20' off the ground on back legs (discluding neck) 25-35' (including neck) 35-40'
Coloration: natural coloration is black, though pale coloration and pie's have been seen
Life Expectancy: 200-500 years, though this has yet to be fully proved as human life span only reaches 180-200
Intelligence: very, far beyond that of modern humans, highly sensitive
Eyesight: See all spectrums, maybe in more defined color than humans even, able to see 'white light'
Senses: Sensitive; hearing, and touch are enhanced, eyesight seems to be normal in this species, it doesn't seem as if they depend on their eyes to live, taste also seems to be normal and declines with age even though they are known to have preferences in meat
Sensitivities: Radiation; draco zepha is extremely allergic to radiation, they were being seen hundreds of years before radioactive use in humankind, only after the 1900's to 2100's did it seem that they came back out though after OWII they disappeared due to high radiation in all global regions, lack of humans in usual busy cities seems to have aided in their survival, sensitive to violence and usually do their best to avoid violence, sensitive to gamma radiation, sensitive to light pollution and sound pollution and even human pollution, to be honest any kind of pollution.
Origins: North America-Russia, original origin is not yet known, some theories on sea dwelling snakes that crawled from the ocean, this could explain the long body and short limbs?
Human Interaction: this wouldn't have been put down if there wasn't proof that it does seem to exist, draco zepha can speak openly with humans, every adult I have come into contact know several human languages, usually the most prominent, English, Spanish, Chinese, Russian, and other varying languages, they enjoy observing children, and even after frightened calls from mothers I was assured by zoologists that draco zepha are not 'kidnappers' or 'pedophiles', for whatever reason they were called 'pedophiles' is still unknown to me and seems to be a laughing term among the species. overall very peaceful
Other Notes: Human interference with the world has forced these creatures to evolve faster and gain more intelligence, government officials are worried that this may cause problems in the future, I would say not at all. After OWII(Outer War II) I think that these creatures are better off without us to bother them.
I will note however that the evolution cycle in draco zepha has slowed significantly, now that it is 2568 and the usual lifespan of a draco zepha is 200-500. Over time their life expectancy has rose very quickly, recorded life-spans in 2165 were from 70-80 years of age, by 2220 the life expectancy was bumped up to 90-110 years of age, please keep in mind that these were wild born and wild living creatures. In domestication they had already been able to live up to 160 years or more. In 2258 the government bumped up the lifespan to 170-180, surpassing the domesticated lifespan by three years in 2258, in 2280 the average lifespan was 250-260.
Through 2290-2455, there was not a recorded draco zepha death in between these times. There is still frustration amongst the reasoning behind it because, "No Zepharian carcass', bones, or corpses were found in this period" is simply not enough information. It was in 2455 when a large male was found outside of Moscow, Russia; his age dated back to 2110, dying between the age of 340-345. Zoologist had previously ruled that all of these animals had died out from that period by 2200, the fact that the species had been first seen in 2142, and recorded to have lived 70-80 years, was proven false by this monolith of a Zepharian.

Orcentials (OR-C-N-TALLS)
On average 8-20 feet long, females 8-16, males 12-20 (on average!) when full grown at age 5.
Look like ocelots, except they are much bigger.
Like to climb trees and sleep in them.
Have a lifespan of about 30 years.
Only need a full grown buck a week for food.
Have 3-5 cubs per litter on average (can get up to 13 in special cases).
Humans first believed that Ocelots got into a radioactive accident, an incorrect theory.
Have two poison fang teeth right beside their canines. They are used to inject their prey with a neurotoxin that kills nearly instantly. Though Orcentials do not use it often it is their most effective way of killing. This is one of the reasons the Humans thought that the Ocelots were in a radioactive accident.
Eyesight is incredible, pick up on the slightest of details.
Hearing is pristine, can hear the grass move half a mile to a mile away.
Sense of smell is above average, they can pick up light odors.

Tesnrialterars (TES-N-RI-ALTER-ERS)
A bird creature, about the size of an Killer whale.
Their wingspan is usually 26 feet.
Their feathers are blue, with gold tips at the end of the wing feathers and purple tips at the end of the tail feathers. They have small green feathers on their head which normally form in the shape of a home base (Baseball base)
Their golden beaks are usually 5-7 feet long.
Live up to 26 years.
Said to be cousins of Peacocks but it has never been proven.
Males are more colorful, with brighter feathers as they need to attract the females.
Hearing is superb, can hear insects and mice moving in the grass from 1200 feet in the air.
Eyesight is above average, can see insects and mice from 300 feet in the air.
Sense of smell is terrible, they couldn't smell a creature if it was an inch away from them. They do have slit holes in their beaks but the main functions of those are to breathe. A sense of smell is not an important factor for them, even if they could smell everything it would not change much, except make them slightly harder to ambush.
