Belle opened her eyes slowly, unsure of where she was. The room she was in was huge, with her tucked under the covers of a four poster, emerald green bed, with extramely fluffy pillows. She got up, taking in her surroundings, which wasnt much.
She went to the window, where the curtains were pushed back and looked out at the garden under her. There was a man in a suit attending to the garden and from what she could see, he had the same mark on his arm as she had on hers, just in different colors. instead of green, blue, white; he had red, black, and grey.
Suddenly, she heard footsteps coming from outside the door. She quickly got back into the bed and closed her eyes, feigning sleep. The doors opened and she cracked her eyes a little bit, seeing a man, about a half a foot taller than her, with light ginger hair, and amazing brown eyes. He looked at her, not seeing that she was awake and went to the window.
"Well, Lass," He started, his scottish accent thick and . She opened her eyes all the way, watching him as he watched the garden, "Looks like ya 'avent decided to wake yerself today. When ye do, I'll 'ave a nice, warm supper awaiting ya. It's a promise." He said, starting to turn.
Belle was so facinated by him that by the time his eyes locked with hers, she couldn't fake sleep again. She stared, wide eyed at him as he came to her and sat on the edge of her bed. He grabbed her arm and examined her marking, then looked back up at her.
"You 'ave the marking." He said, more to himself, "Ye were the lass 'rom the forst, weren't ya?" She nodded slowly, "Ye're confused, 'ren't ya?" Again she nodded, "I'm the dark power lass, the one's tha' yer friend are all afraid of." He explained, watching her eyes go wide, "Ye didna expect that?"
