Adam growled when the blasted bunny blew his doors down, using magic to restore them. He shut the door behind Amelia and used more magic to lock the bunny out, "'Tis not polite to storm into my castle, lass." He growled, "For I have a guest of sorts."
Belle watched as Adam interacted with the woman- cat- woman- cat... She sighed, not really sure how to address her. She came out from behind the collum she was hiding behind and went to Adam's side, unsure of what to do. He gave her a sideways look and put his hand on her shoulder, silently assuring her that the cat-woman ment no harm.

"I wasn't storming in, it was that rabbit that-" Amelia stopped as she looked at the woman. "Who's this?"

"The lass is named Belle." He answered, ingoring the harsh glare he got from said girl, "The lass is staying here for a while. I hope ye willna have a problem with tha'." He smirked, "Now, what are ye doing here?" He asked, exasperated.
Belle sighed, unsure of how to interact with either of them. She excused herself and started to wander the castle, passing many doors that gave her an uninteresting feel, until she came to a set of huge ornate doors, with gold accents and a mahogany color. She pushed the door open and found.... books. Lots and lots of books.

"Oh, my ship's getting repaired...again," said Amelia as she rolled her eyes. "I don't know how long I'm going to be here. And so I thought since I was around that I would come visit you." She watched as Belle walked away. "How did you find her?"

"The lass was marked, by me. I went to the forest and she was there, helpin' the little creatures hide." He explained, "'Tis a mysterious thing how the mark works. Every mark is different in color, meaning something different for each person. I donna know what the lass' means yet." He mumbled.

Amelia gave Adam a bewildered look. "You... never told me about this before. Why are you telling me now?"

"Because I thought I knew everything about this curse o' mine." He said, "I didna know wha' was gonna happen if I marked the lass. Aye, I will admit that this is intriguing me. I wish to know about this lass and who she is. And I got her here, not by any good means of course." He finished.

Amelia nodded as she tried to wrap her mind around this. "What else is there?"

Adam sighed, "So far, I have no knowledge of anything else. However, upon the morn, I shall set het to work in the keep, so I may find out." He said, looking around for Belle. He didn't hear her excuse herself, "Now, where is that wee lass?" He asked himself, "She didna tell me where she were off to..."

"Aye," Adam responded, "That would be a great help to me." They seperated, going into different parts of the castle, Adam heading to the guest rooms, and Amelia going toward the library, "That damn wee lass." He growled, "I donna want her to get into trouble." He said to himself.
Belle, however, was curled up in a fluffy armchair in front of the fireplace in the library, reading about a castle where the prince was spoiled and selfish and then got turned into a beast. So far she got to the part where the main character, a woman named Belle, who looked an aweful lot like her, was introduced through her love of books.

As Amelia walked into the library, she peeked in a saw the woman sitting in an armchair, reading. "So this is where you ran off to?" she said, not really out loud. "My friend's looking for you."

Belle looked up, "Don't care." She responded, "I just want to be left alone right now." She explained, "What would you feel like if you were marked by a freaking shadow, pushed out your window, woke up in a strange castle that you've been dreaming about for a week, and are being held captive my a Scottish man with an incredibly sexy accent who talked to you while you were unconcious and calls you 'lass' in that amazing accent!" She exclaimed.
Adam smirked, having gone to the library wing to catch up with Amelia. He had heard her scream at Amelia, and he had heard everything. He walked up to the doors to the library and openeed them, two pairs of eyes locking on him. He smirked, "Well, lasses, having fun?" He asked, using is 'incredibly sexy accent'.
Belle gulped, having a inkling feeling that he overheard her yelling at the cat lady, "What are you guys even doing here?" She asked defiently, "I thought you guys were 'catching up'." She put air quotes around the words, and Adam caught the double meaning, making him laugh.
"Lass, Amelia and I are just friend. I wouldna date her, even if I was in'erested in her. I'm not inta bestiality." He explained, ignoring the glare he got from said woman," Amelian, help yerself to anything, except for the sprits." He said, talking Belle's arm and dragging her away. The book she was reading lied forgotten on the ground as he lead her out to the garden.
The garden was empty, with no other people around. Belle took the oppourtunity, once he let her go, to study some of the plants. There were red and white roses, yellow daisys, blue violets, and an assortments of other colors. She smiled and sniffed some of the nearby tigerlilies, delighting in the smell.
Adam came up beside her, "I dona believe I caught that name o' yers, lass." He said, picking one of the tigerlilies. She looked at him and he tucked it behind her ear, messing with her hair to get it perfect, "Wha' night it be then? Caroline? Danielle? Avery?" She shook her head at each, smiling.
"It's Belle." She told him, "It means beautiful in French." She explained, moving on to another set of flower, these one being a bright green. She felt her cheeks heat up as she looked at him out of the corner of her eye, noticing that he was still looking at her.
"Aye, 'tis fitting for ye, lass." He said, going to a different set of flowers than the one she was at. She turned behind her, watching him pick dead leaves and tend to the flowers, "A beauty such as yerself must have many lads wanting ye." He said.
Belle quickly turned around as she saw him turn to her, "No. I mostly kept to myself before I left my hometown. My father was the town kook and when he died, I became what he was." She explained, "Why do you live by yourself?" She asked.
Adam sighed, walking quietly behind her, "Because of my curse." He whispered, leaning down into her ear. She jumped and turned, eyes widening at their close proximity. His eyes flicked to her lips then back up to her eyes, "Lass, are ye sure ye want to know aobut me? 'Tis a long story." He warned.
Belle smiled, her eyes copying what his did, "I'm sure we have enough time," She said, that gentle smile turning into a smirk, "Lad." He smiled widely, a deep laugh escaping him. She smiled again, "But if ye dona want to tell it to a lass such as myself, ye dona have to." She said, mimicking his accent and drawing another laugh from his chest.
"Aye then, lass. Come." He took her arm, gently this time and brought her inside, "'Tis better if we go to my chamber, lass, so Amelia willna come interfering." He told her, dragging her in the direction of his room. She nodded, the movment seen out of the corner of his eye. He smiled, telling himself that her mark could wait until later.

Amelia watched Adam and Belle walk out of the library and she sat in the armchair that Belle was in. "This is so comfy," she purred, sinking into the chair.

Belle gaped, unsure of what to say. He had just told her about his curse, and how he got it. She looked down at her mark, hearing the part about each mark coloring meaning a different thing, "Lass?" She looked up at Adam, "Are ye alright? I willna keep ye here if ye donna want to stay." He assured her, "I just thought tha' ye would want somewhere to stay wi' tha' marking o' yers." He told her, "Folks 'round here donna take kindly to those with my marking."
Belle shook her head, "It's fine. I'll stay." She told him. He nodded, accepting her acceptance.
